About DITD Dive Systems

I’m Jools, the owner of Deep in the Dark and DITD Dive Systems.

I started making dive equipment because I was frustrated by the choice between expensive equipment and cheap equipment. It always seemed like you either paid a fortune or accepted something that looked and felt disappointing.

I didn’t think it had to be that way.

Every product starts with a simple question: can we make something that works properly, look exceptional and still remain realistically priced?

Everything is designed and manufactured in-house in the UK. From the first prototype to the finished product, the goal remains the same: create dive equipment that people genuinely enjoy owning and using.

Diving is an equipment-heavy hobby. If you’re going to use something every dive, why shouldn’t it be well made? Why shouldn’t it feel good in your hands?
